Yesterday, the LA City Council approved a fee hike for the Systematic Code Enforcement Program, for which apartment tenants pay in to cover the city's costs for inspecting rental units. According to the LA Daily News, fees will go from $35.52 a year to $45.47. It's the first increase in five years. [LADN]
