Spring Street Greening Up, LaFetraWatching Bel Air Paul Williams

DOWNTOWN: Thus begins the greening of the Historic Core: "Looks like they've started on the spring street park," writes a tipster. Now they just need someone to pay for its operations. This photo is about a week old, so the park's probably almost done by now. Just kidding--it's scheduled to be all green and ready in about a year. [Curbed Inbox]

BEL AIR: Our favorite prolific architecture buyer/restorer Michael LaFetra has offloaded one of his more unexpected properties, a 1929 Paul Williams-designed house in Bel Air. He bought the house in March 2009 for $7.4 million and first put it up for sale in December 2010 asking $10.749 million. Several chops and months later, he's just sold it for $7.7 million. [Redfin]
