West 27th Place, that fancy USC-adjacent housing project (with a tanning booth, salt water pool with cabanas, and washers and dryers in every unit) has just sold to New York-based Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors. The 161 unit building was already completely leased at its opening in August. LA Times says "The price was not disclosed but downtown property experts predicted it would sell for about $60 million."
