Selling LA Premiering Tomorrow, Balloons Over Art Walk

TV LAND: Watch your backs, Josh, Josh, and Madison, there's a new set of TV brokers to amuse us with their wacky hijinks. Selling LA, a spinoff of Selling New York, premieres tomorrow night on HGTV at 10 pm. The show features agents from Hilton & Hyland, the Valerie Fitzgerald Group, and Keller Williams "battling to sell high-end properties—valued at everywhere from $5 to $40 million." Sellers include a motivational speaker, an artist, former Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum, and a racecar driver. We will, of course, be recapping the ridiculousness right here throughout the season. DOWNTOWN: Tomorrow night during the Downtown Art Walk, art-tivist Leba debuts "Project: Remember." He and volunteers will release more than 1,600 balloons from "atop five of Gallery Row's tallest buildings." Each balloon will be lit and tagged with the name of a soldier who has died in the war in Afghanistan. According to the artist, the dolphins should be ok--the balloons will be biodegradable and won't have enough helium to make it out of the area. There'll also be an accompanying street art fundraiser at the Loft Salon at the Santa Fe Lofts. [Curbed Inbox]
