Paul Laszlo, who's among the architects featured in LACMA's very enjoyable Living in a Modern Way: California Design 1930-1965 exhibit, designed this residence on Gilcrest Drive in 1948. However, it's hard to tell how much of the Hungarian-born architect's imprint remains, as according to the listing, the house "has been extensively renovated with the past few years." Oh well. At any rate, the 3,267 square foot property--located within a gated community--features four bedrooms, three and a half baths, formal dining and living rooms, a fireplace, pool, spa, and panoramic views. Last sold in 2000 for $1.65 million, it's now listed at $3.495 million.
