Scenes From Yesterday's CicLAvia

With yesterday's CicLAvia 3 over, we are now at the furthest possible point from the next CicLAvia, but buck up, campers, and remember the good times from LA's favorite block party. And take heart that it's spreading. Organizers are considering Valley and Westside routes, according to the Daily News (possibilities for the former include North Hollywood to Burbank and along Magnolia Boulevard). And the LA Times reported over the weekend that the county Department of Public Health was planning on hosting "a behind-the-scenes-tour" of the event for reps from six SoCal cities--South Gate, Huntington Park, La Puente, Lynwood, San Fernando, and Pomona. Yesterday's event was as packed as ever; the Civic Center area was particularly crowded with CicLAvians exploring the Occupy LA encampment (and the food trucks). [Curbed Staff]
