The Daily Breeze reports neighbors are awaiting legal word in a very complicated and sad situation involving Gary Kaiser, a formerly homeless trumpet player who gained some notoriety a while back, but who is now is constantly attracting police to his residence at South Catalina Avenue. But it's unclear if Kaiser, "who runs a ministry named 'Kooks for Christ' out of the house," is actually calling the police himself (there's been 60 police visits since last August). Kaiser goes to trial on Tuesday; if found guilty of various crimes, city officials hopes Kaiser will simply move, ending neighbors' complaints and the constant police visits. [Breeze]
