Dealing With Downtown Filming

New, 9 comments

The latest issue of the Downtown News chronicles the complications that a recent increase in city filming for shows, films, and commercials has brought for loft dwellers. In a sidebar, the newspaper has all the pertinent info you need to know about filming (by law, production companies are required to clean up after themselves, filming can only take place between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. (!) within 100 feet of a residential building [7-10 in the Old Bank District]), plus there's the phone number you need when you're awoken at 2 a.m. by fake squad cars.
