New, 6 comments

Phase 2 of Playa Vista, which which will add 2,600 homes, office buildings, retail, and more to the bluffs of the Westside looks to be on its way, according to the Los Angeles Times. While the City Council approved the project last year, opponents sued, claiming the environmental impact report was flawed. But last week, Judge John A. Torribio denied the challenge. "Patti Sinclair, co-president of Playa Vista, said the developer was 'extremely gratified' by the ruling," but also suggested an appeal may be coming. [LAT]
