Trump Loses Bid to Build More Homes at Rancho Palos Verdes

New, 13 comments

Donald Trump's push to build 20 more homes at his Rancho Palos Verdes golf course has been denied, reports the Daily Breeze, citing a judge's ruling. Via the Breeze, the ruling notes that "the city cannot be compelled to approve the additional housing at Trump's development because it was never requested by his VH Property Corp., Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ann I. Jones said.

The ruling addresses part of a lawsuit in which Trump seeks $100 million in damages from the city for allegedly purposefully delaying his effort to build 20 homes in addition to 36 already approved." Naturally, team Trump says that it will appeal. Trump's attorney Scott Wellman tells the Breeze: '"This litigation is going to go on and on and on and on. This is one phase of many,' Wellman said. 'It's going to be very expensive. This ruling is just the latest in a very long series of legal battles between the Donald and the city.
