Fowl Turnover on Cache's Silver Lake Mural

New, 3 comments

There's a changing of the guard going on in Silver Lake, reports the Eastsider LA. That mural of birds and bike-riding chicken on Sunset Boulevard and Benton Way is getting an update from street artist Cache. Several of his murals in Silver Lake and Echo Park are getting a fresh coat of paint and some new creatures--one even has a cat, reports the EchoParkPatch, which mentions the artist has been doing graffiti art for two decades. "I live and breathe bicycles and painting and the projects that I like to create vary according to my mood," Cache tells the Patch. "Sometimes I'm very political and sometimes I just want to make you smile." Larger image by Will Campbell
