Speaking of new and planned hotels: Studio City will see the arrival of PNK Group Investments' BLVD Hotel + Spa, a 58-room hotel that will open at 10730 Ventura Blvd in early February, according to the San Ferndando Valley Business Journal. Visitors get expect a little loofah before they hit up Universal Studios--a rep for the hotel says it's expected the hotel will attract visitors to Universal Studios Hollywood, the Hollywood Bowl and John Anson Ford Theatre, "as well as the numerous studios and production facilities nearby.” [SFBJ]
