Inside, Around Heather House

New, 4 comments

As covered last fall, the French Regency-style Beverly Hills home of late agent Ed Limato is on the market. The Hollywood Reporter takes us around the 9,000 square foot estate which was the site of some of the most glamorous Oscar parties ever. Called the Heather House, the home was built in the 1930s for Dick Powell and Joan Blondell--Limato did some extensive remodeling to the house, pouring $6 million into renovations that added a billiard room complete with aquarium and a wood-paneled walk-in closet. There are also marble bathrooms, crystal chandeliers, and of course, a screening room. [HR]
