New, 8 comments

From those Orsinis to the planned Il Villaggio Toscano project, LA loves to plop new housing, usually rental buildings, directly next to freeways. News which first came out last month, USC researchers "may have found a link between autism and living near a freeway," according to the Pasadena Star News. "A team of scientists from USC, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and UC Davis published a study last month showing children born to mothers living within 1,000 feet of a freeway face double the risk of being autistic."
