"Enhanced" Wallace Neff in Beverly Hills for $18 Million

New, 18 comments

Ever flip through a copy of Skymall and think: Who would actually buy one of those ridiculous butlers? Well, looks like we may have a fan of said servant (whom the catalog calls "Dobson") in the seller (or decorator) of this Wallace Neff-designed Beverly Hills home. The four-bedroom, six-bath house was built in 1952, but the listing notes that it was "meticulously restored and enhanced in 2009." Along with some Magic-Eye-esque pattern mixing, the French-inspired home features a mahogany paneled library, formal dining room, three fireplaces, and a "professional screening room." Asking price for the 1.19 acre property is $17.995 million.
