Culver City, working alongside other area cities, hopes to nab an $800,000 grant from HUD that would study the problems associated with La Cienega Boulevard (traffic, housing), reports The Patch. Metro, along with the cities, applied for the grant and will find out in a few weeks whether they got the money. A Culver City councilman said La Cienega was chosen as an applicant because it's an important route for the Westside that's often immobile. [The Patch]
