Jones, Smith, and Contini-Designed in Crestwood Hills

New, 13 comments

A Los Angeles Historical-Cultural Monument, the Hamma Residence, built in 1951, is now available. Designed by A. Quincy Jones, Whitney R. Smith, Edgardo Contini, the three-bedroom, two and half bath home is listed at $1.75 million. The Crestwood Hills blog has an early shot of the home, as well as some background on the neighborhood. More via the listing: "Refurbished and carefully upgraded by the present owner, it offers archetypical mid-century modern architecture, original details, panoramic city and ocean views, and a brilliant blend of static and dynamic interior spaces, expanded by the addition of a master bedroom suite designed by Chris Peck, AIA, and Sergio A. Zeballos."
