Matisse's "La Gerbe," the 2,000 pound ceramic mural that until recently lived its whole life at the Brody House in Holmby Hills, has finally completed its journey to LACMA following Frances Lasker Brody's death. Unframed has some pretty sweet moving photos, but the piece doesn't look nearly so good on a museum wall as it did in its old home in the A. Quincy Jones-designed atrium.
