[Images via Country Club] Put down the paper bag, this is not a scene of actual architectural destruction (For the real thing, try Soriano's rundown Lukens House or Lautner's recently-demolished Shusett House.). This is artists Justin Lowe and Jonah Freeman's Bright White Underground, which alters Rudolph Schindler's Buck House into a mid-century experimental drug den. Over the summer, the pair staged an acid test-type party and then turned the house "into a labyrinth that includes a library of salt-crystallized books with windows covered in newspaper," as described by Interview. The wreckage runs through October 30.
