Ezri Namvar, the real estate developer accused of ripping off half of Beverly Hills--and a guy who earned the name West Coast Bernie Madoff--has been indicted on wire fraud charges, reports the Los Angeles Business Journal. "Namvar, whose properties have included the Cal Neva resort in Lake Tahoe and downtown L.A's Marriott hotel, has been under investigation by the FBI since at least 2009, just months after he and Namco Capital were forced into bankruptcy in December 2008 by a group of investors."
