Inhabitat reports that ecoPark, a "totally net zero, sustainable, organic and cradle-to-cradle" park, think tank, and demonstration center planned for the Malibu bluffs, has gotten approval to start construction. The ecoPark is the brainchild of photographer and inventor Douglas Busch, who is providing 20 acres of land, where he has already built his own house, studio, and pool. Visitors to the ecoPark will travel from the parking lot "via electric vehicles that are charged on site with renewable energy and also generate energy when they travel on speed bumps around the park."
