LA's Freeways Are Terrible

New, 7 comments

Yes, it's a shocker. The Source has the charts and data from a report out today on current traffic conditions in the county. On an A to F scale, Los Angeles County freeways average an E, with particularly bad grades going to the 10 between the 405 and the East LA Interchange, the 5 between the 2 and the 170, and the 5 between Lakewood Boulevard and the OC. On the plus side, "Network speed increased about 6.1% (16 to 17 miles per hour) from 1992 to 2009." [The Source]
