The latest updates from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...

Century City's cheese shangri-la, Obikà Mozzarella Bar
CENTURY CITY: Today was the opening for Obikà Mozzarella Bar, an ode to mild cheese at the Westfield mall. With more than a dozen outposts in Italy, this is Obikà's second restaurant in the U.S., following a New York opening. Look for another branch to open at the Beverly Center in the near future.

SANTA MONICA: Too many rowdy sports fans probably brought down Santa Monica's Parlor bar--it announced its closure this weekend after receiving numerous complaints. Not all is lost! The Parlor recently took over the old Guapo Cantina space on Melrose near La Brea.

HOLLYWOOD: This looks like a nightclub we can get down with. Premiere, a 5,000 square foot spot at the old Central space on Las Palmas, is set to open tomorrow. It's a take on Spanish nightlife with a lot of red and pictures of matadors.

ECHO PARK: More places to get bombed in Echo Park--the Sunset Beer Company, a 2,000 square foot microbrew shop and tasting room opens on the Boulevard early next year.
