Getting answers about what's going on with 5550 Wilshire is as tough as cracking state secrets. The project is very close to completion, leading many to wonder about pricing, but the development is also owned by New York-based investment firm BlackRock--Legacy is the builder/developer--and BlackRock declined to talk about any details of this project. All one has to comfort oneself is signage for Chipotle. The last news was that 163 condos were planned, and then there were rumors it was going rental, and now the buzz is that no, it's still condos. Visiting the site this morning, the site was busy with construction workers, and judging from the work they were doing, it looks like they are very close to finishing the building.
