A former partner of architect Philip Johnson is putting "more than 25,000 design sketches, working drawings, renderings and photographs from the second half of Johnson’s architectural career" up for sale, the NY Times reports. The archive includes material on Garden Grove's Crystal Cathedral, New York's AT&T Building, and some of the structures at Johnson's New Canaan estate. Also compelling: the paper alludes to drama among the partners in Johnson's former firm. [Crystal Cathedral via Wikimedia] [NYT]
