Playa Vista's Maltzan and Burnett-Designed Central Park is Here

A rendering of that new Playa Vista park, designed by Michael Maltzan and landscape architect James Burnett, was featured back in 2008, and hey, your 7.9-acre Central Park at Playa Vista is here, according to The Argonaut. The highlight is the band shell, while there's also "artificial turf soccer field, a sand volleyball court, full basketball court and an area for bocce ball." Bocce ball, now we're talking.
