One- Bedroom Apartment in Leland Bryant's Harper House

New, 25 comments

Let's harken back to the days of Old Hollywood with the assistance of Craigslist, where we find this posting for a one-bedroom apartment in the Leland Bryant-designed Harper House. Built in 1929, the Churriqueresque complex in West Hollywood's Historic Harper District was considered the bees' knees by early Tinseltown stars such as Norma Talmadge and Gilbert Roland. More recently, it served as the site of a murder in Scream 3, but no need to dwell on that. Per the listing, the unit features "ornate decorative fireplace and arches, french windows, eat-in kitchen, hardwood floors, high beamed ceilings, lots of nooks and crannies!" The building also offers a laundry room, covered parking, and a cat-friendly pet policy. Rent, however is New Hollywood: $1,995 a month.
