Metro is wrapping up their draft environmental report for the Purple Line subway extension down Wilshire and they're weighing the option of a stop just west of the 405. They're considering a station at the Veterans Administration building, but currently only 37 percent of readers on The Source blog say "build it and I'll use it." In a comment, Carter Rubin, a writer with Streetsblog LA, says the walkability of a VA stop would be pretty dismal, while a station at Barrington or Bundy makes more sense. [The Source]
