Gene Autry Estate in Studio City Comes With Cowboy Furnishings

New, 34 comments

Say howdy to Gene Autry's "Flying A" estate. The 8,000-square-foot Monterey Colonial in Fryman Canyon was the Singing Cowboy's home from the late 1940s until 1998, when he became a Ghost Rider in the Sky. According to the official Gene Autry website, Autry's widow, Jackie, put the home on the market because she now prefers to live in Palm Springs. Located on 3.68 acres, the property features a five-bedroom, seven-bath main house, full guest house, and "outdoor entertainment center with fireplace." It's listed at $6.9 million, but throw in another 200Gs and the cowboy-themed furniture can be yours too. Heaps more photos can be found here.
