Quaking

It's never good when a physics and geology professor says he's "worried" about the state of fault lines. But the Los Angeles Times reports that Mexicali quake (which happened in the spring) may be transferred pressure towards the San Jacinto fault (that was Wednesday's quake) and the Elsinore fault, leading a UC Davis professor to predict a larger quake may happen on one of those faults. Stock up on bottled water, folks! [LAT]
