A web site calling for a tax on West Hollywood billboards has cropped up, but strangely, there's no contact info on the site, nor on the press release. Who knows what this is about, but City Councilwoman Abbe Land sent out an email blast (no link) calling the initiative a "Trojan horse" that "would allow some building owners automatic rights to install tall walls and other signage that they currently cannot install without going through an approval and permitting process."
