This morning the City Council unanimously approved entitlements for the Johnson Fain-designed Columbia Square project in Hollywood. Developer AREA will return in the fall to ask the Council to confirm the developer agreement, which will ask for a 15-year entitlement extension (a time frame that some locals object to given the uncertainty of what they say may happen in the area). There is still no time frame for breaking ground, according to a rep for the developer.
