A little something for the transportation history nerds in the crowd: a reader sends us this 1966-dated photograph of the Sunset Bridge over the 405, which Caltrans will begin destroying tonight as part of its freeway widening project. The bridge was finished in 1956, according to County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky's website, and cost $722,657. Even older photos over there.
