A street out in Sun Valley "has become the Rolls-Royce of L.A.’s Green Street initiative," according to the LA Times. A coalition of public and private groups worked together to give the block of Elmer Avenue "new curving sidewalks, solar street lamps and gutters with curb breaks feeding rainwater from the street into bioswales."
