Some long-planned street improvements for East Hollywood will be finished by October, according to Yuseff Robb, press secretary for City Councilman Eric Garcetti. Both sides of the sidewalk on Hollywood Blvd., from Serrano to Kenmore, will get brick accoutrements, bike racks, and new trees. Skanky curbs, driveways, gutters will also get fixed. "We're looking for these improvements to make this neighborhood more attractive to residents, visitors and shoppers and businesses, and to make it more appealing for walking and biking," Robb says.
