In 2009 OK store proprietor Larry Schaffer blogged his move into Rudolph Schindler's 1935 McAlmon House in Silver Lake. Who's next? Schaffer is looking for a tenant for the McAlmon guest house, a thoroughly-renovated bungalow at the front of the property. The little house is 700 square feet, with one bedroom and one bathroom, a fireplace, and a washer/dryer. The listing adds: "Quiet, secluded with incredibly beautiful light. It is a separate house with its own private terrace and garden." Cats are cool, dogs are possible, and rent is $2,550 per month. Curbed went inside the main house on last fall's MAK tour.
