Just a little bit behind schedule (we heard in March it would be open by summer), the Theme Building will officially debut its fancy new earthquake equipment and reopened observation deck, which had been closed for nine years following the 9/11 attacks. The Daily Breeze reports that "Today, the mayor and several members of the City Council will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the project." Do you feel whole again, Angelenos?
