We showed you this sexy Lorcan O'Herlihy-updated Streamline Moderne in the Hollywood Hills last May, when it first went up for rent. The three bedroom, three bathroom was single-storied when it was built in 1942, and an O'Herlihy childhood friend commissioned the architect for updates in 2000 and 2004 (those include a second-story master suite, an infinity pool, and a cabana). The house has been widely published (including in the New York Times), and rumor has it that the house's most recent tenant befits its pedigree--we hear Friend of Gehry and Los Angeles Philharmonic music director Gustavo Dudamel has been shacking up here. More pictures here, and rent remains $9,950.
