DOWNTOWN: Update on the Great LAPD Headquaters Lawn Debacle: A rep for the LAPD reports that sod will be laid tomorrow for replacement lawn. "The lawn will be a Bermuda grass that should stand up better to the use the lawn gets," he writes. "It will, however, go dormant for a few months during the winter. Also once the lawn is installed, it will be fenced off for at least the first month to give the grass an opportunity to get established." [Curbed InBox]
