Congratulations, Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools, you are now more bloated than Buck Rogers High. The LAUSD campus on the site of the Ambassador Hotel will wind up costing about $578 million or $135,000 per seat when it's all finished, which the Daily News says out-expensives Downtown's High School for the Visual and Performing Arts by $3,000 per seat (although presumably the RFK buildings are all functional). The LADN also reminds us that the site could have been home to an attempted world's tallest skyscraper courtesy of Donald Trump. [LADN, previously]
