Everyone first learned about 13480 Maxella Avenue, a big apartment complex on the corner of Maxella and Lincoln Blvd in Marina Del Rey, last July, and today Globe Street provides a check of what's coming: "The two planned modern mid-rises, consisting of 244 luxury apartment homes above 9,000 square feet of retail space and two levels of parking, will be the only residential project of this size in west Los Angeles that is projected to open in the next two years, according to a prepared statement." Local architectural design firm DesignARC are behind the building, which'll break ground this fall and take two years to complete.
