The tour of Dwell on Design homes continues so please don the blue surgical boots and walk through RST Design's home in Atwater Village, a residence inhabited by the architects themselves (the husband and wife team of Rebecca Rudolph and Colin Thompson). According to this Los Angeles Times story, the couple bought the 500-square foot cottage for $139,000 ten years ago before embarking on a renovation/addition. The home is now just a "modest" 1,150 square feet. The firm also did work on the famous Silver Lake "Love in the Time of Foreclosure" home.
