We're taking a tour of various homes that were featured on the Dwell on Design home tour this past weekend. First up: A look at some Westside homes, including the Beitcher Residence in Santa Monica, which was designed by local firm W3 Architects. Back in 2007, Inhabitat visited this home, reporting on the numerous green elements, which include a two-story thermal chimney that aids in in the cooling and ventilation of the house, and materials like denim insulation. According to W3's web site, the home was featured in the 2009 book, Bioclimatic Architecture.
