We heart Eagle Rock, but one sticking point: Eagle Rock Boulevard is so damn wide that some parts of the neighborhood can feel more car-friendly than pedestrian-friendly. Rising on the Boulevard--and a project that will likely add more street life- is Oxy Lofts, which will finish by the beginning of August, according to Jason Insalaco, real estate agent broker at Kelton Properties. Developed by local firm Piedmont LA and designed by Vanos Architects, Oxy Lofts will offer 31 units (a mix of condos, lofts, and townhomes), ranging in size from 950 square feet-1,250 square feet. Prices will fall in the mid-$400,000s. There's one retail space, while local artists will be donating work that'll be placed around the building. See you later this summer, Oxy.
