Up and Away in West LA, Tipsy Gold Line Art Fantasia

WEST LA: Here's Santa Monica Plaza, that mixed-use, 60-unit development rising on Santa Monica Boulevard and Federal Avenue that we've been chronicling. The foundation and underground garage are about done, so it's now about building out the six or so floors. [Curbed Staff]

BOYLE HEIGHTS: While the Foothill extension groundbreaking kicks off in Arcadia, an art tour is happening at the same time along the existing segments. Gold Line station artists will be describing their work at several stops from Pasadena to East LA; all part of a fundraiser for the Avenue 50 nonprofit gallery. There's also food from the Homegirl Cafe and a booze stop at the Heritage Winery. [Curbed InBox]
