Another round of tree removal drama is going down around the city: The Park La Brea News reports 42 trees will be torn out on 3rd Street between Fairfax Avenue and La Cienega Bouelvard, and replaced with 98 new trees. Some of the trees that will be removed are unhealthy fruitless olive trees, but homeowners tell the paper those trees are in fact not unhealthy. Sidewalk-ruining ficus are also being cut down.
