ChouChous's Wackiness at the La Brea Tar Pits, 960 La Brea Question

MIRACLE MILE: The La Brea Tar Pits can be kind of a bummer with that family of mammoths in a perpetually heartbreaking tableau, so this could be a nice change of pace. As part of LACMA's ArtWalk, artist Gary Baseman is putting on Giggle and Pop!, a series of performances with 24 real-life versions of some of his characters (the pink ones are the ChouChous). LACMA says it's going to "create new and alternative memories of one of LA's major landmark areas." There are three scheduled performances, plus assorted guerrilla acts throughout the day. LA BREA: A curious reader, the best kind. This one concerns 960 La Brea. "Was wondering if you guys had any info on that concrete colossus diagonally across from the WeHo Gateway ... has signs up, hope it gets rehabbed though I suppose it's location across from that quarry makes it suboptimal for housing?" We're assuming he means this project.
