An effort was recently underway to gauge Hollywood's transient population, with 60 volunteers combing through alleys, parking lots, and near the 101 to find people. According to The Beverly Press, many people found living in the woods surrounding the Hollywood Bowl made it clear they did not want housing assistance. [Beverly Press]
