Welcome to this version of "New To Market," our look at a listing with a reader vote. Consider this an unscientific way to take the buying pulse of a wary public. Feedback and nominees to the tipline, please.
Ok, so this house actually looks like it'd accommodate some very tall people, but it is smartly camouflaged to the street. The listing calls the two bedroom, two bathroom "the ultimate pied-a-terre" and calls your attention to the "polished Italian terra cotta pavers and inlaid marquetry floors in the master bedroom; lush landscaping with private pool and cabana...Skylights throughout. Master suite with fireplace and doors leading to private backyard." And it's walking distance to Robertson. The house is being sold at a loss--its 2007 sale price was $1.463 million; today it's asking $1.25 million, or $758 per square foot. That listing one more time.
