The South Los Angeles Report checks in on the Crenshaw line--the light-rail that will run from the airport up to the Expo Line--and reports that, like with Expo, residents are concerned about street-level crossings. But an Inglewood resident, unconcerned with making enemies, voiced his objections to the above-ground route by saying, "With it running around the suburbs and through the community, our crime rate will go through the roof," and on wanting a subway, "In the richer neighborhoods, they accommodate them. They’re treating us like the urban 'hood.” Oy. [South Los Angeles Report]
